MODULE 1

Trainer: KLIME BELESKI
Lectures on selected viticulture topics:

  • Morphology and physiology of the vines;
  • Main agro-technical and ampelo-technical measures for production of quality grapes;
  • International and local varieties;
  • Agro-ecological conditions;
  • The Terroir concept and geographical protection.

Trainer: PATRICE LALLEMAND
Lectures on selected specific topics connected with the international concept of Terroir, wine science and global wine engineering.

MODULE 2

Trainer: GORAN MILANOV
Lectures on selected topics connected with the wine production technology:

  • Oenology basics – chemical composition of the must and pre-fermentation processes;
  • Wine production processes – alcoholic fermentation and production of white, red rosé and sprakling wine;
  • Wine ageing;
  • Positive and negative characteristics of the wine;
  • Sensory analysis and evaluation;
  • Finishing and storage of wines.

MODULE 3

Trainer: ALEKSANDAR VUCKOVSKI
Lectures on selected topics connected with the wine presentation, communication and wine marketing:

  • Introduction to the Macedonian wine market;
  • Introduction to the global wine market;
  • Communication, presentation and promotion of the characteristics and quality of the wine in the media and in front of the clients;
  • Equipment, service and wine serving protocol;
  • Food & wine pairing principles;
  • Price of the wine – determining factors.

Lectures on selected topics connected with the sommelier-related segment (future profession) and with the wine serving equipment.

Trainer: SLOBODAN CHOKREVSKI
Lectures on selected topics connected with the degustation of tastes of food and wine and their pairing.

ABOUT US

Kamnik Training Center officially started working on January 1, 2014, immediately after fulfilling the requested criteria, i.e. after obtaining the following two decisions:

  • Decision for Verification of a Special Program (the program is titled “WINE ADVISOR”), issued by the “ADULTS EDUCATION CENTER”;
  • Decision for Verification of an adults educational center (the training center) for the purpose of conducting a Special Program, issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia.

Kamnik Training Center - Programs:

  • Sommeliers – A Profession of the Future;
  • Wine Degustation and Assessment Techniques;
  • Brandy Production Technology and Branding.

Kamnik Training Center – Other activities:

  • Organization of various trainings, presentations, information-sharing sessions and similar connected with the wine-related segment (ex. Training on Marketing of Macedonian Wines supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and by the Association of Chambers of Commerce of Macedonia (SSKM); wine tour organized for a group of students from France; educational sessions with degustation for domestic and foreign guests, etc.).

Kamnik Training Center future plans include:

  • Food & wine pairing educational sessions for the HORECA professionals and for the diplomatic corps;
  • Organization of study trips for different profiles of candidates (managers, oenologists, restaurant-related positions, wine lovers) in countries with proven wine tradition where the candidates can gain experience in developing and raising the level of the wine culture, the wine and gastro tourism and related.

Our vision: Conducting a quality process of wine education to provide overall knowledge, skills, and ability to apply the acquired knowledge, for the entrepreneurs and professionals that will support the promotion and the development of the wine industry capacities, and will generate new job openings in the country.

Our mission: WE GO FOR ENHANCING THE IMAGE OF THE MACEDONIAN WINES AS PREMIUM WINES. By supporting the wine culture we want to encourage the development of the wine segment, the wine tourism, the export of the Macedonian wines, and in this way support the economy growth in the R. Macedonia.
